On the shore of the Shenandoah River, just north of the Bloomery Bridge, this half-mile
of river frontage features camping and other recreational opportunities. The well-shaded, quiet hammock of foliage creates
an inviting habitiat for squirrels, birds, and waterfowl. A public boat ramp offers access for fishing on the Shenandoah
River. Camping is allowed by permit only.
Camping Permits can be purchased at the Jefferson County Community
Center
Permits are $10.00 per night (2 tents per permit)
