Hite Park
The Commission has secured the services of LPDA, Inc. a Sterling Virginia based Landscape Architecture firm to develop the Master Plan. LPDA and the Commission have worked with Stakeholders representing several groups, as well as taken input from the general public since the first public meeting to develop a program and preliminary design for Hite Road Park to facilitate the needs of the active and passive recreation user in the County which include: fitness and walking trails, baseball, softball, soccer, and football fields, basketball and tennis courts, tot lots and playgrounds, a skate park, a dosh park, a mini golf course, and supporting facilities.
The Master Plan also incorporates a high emphasis on passive recreation opportunities and includes a series of picnic pavilions and shelters and outdoor games to take advantage of the 119 acre site's natural amenities and treed areas.

This newly acquired 119 acres is located on Hite Rd, Leetown.
